Odisha borders on the Bay of Bengal. The eastern part, close to the sea is more prosperous, with a lot of tourist locations and religious places. The western part is a hilly and forested area, generally drought-prone. It is a predominantly tribal belt. However, the western part of the state contains enormous volumes of iron ore and other minerals that promises to herald major industrialization of the state. It is a culturally rich state. The Bhubaneswar-Puri-Konark golden triangle is the pride of the state. Traditionally, Odisha descended from the historical kingdom of Kalinga. The script for the Odiya (Oriya) language derives from the Kalinga script which is one of the descendants of the Brahmi script.
On arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway station we will pick you up and proceed towards Puri. Check in the hotel. After fresh n up explore Puri. It is a coastal district on the eastern part of Odisha, which is also known as Jagannath Puri. Visit Jagannth temple for Darshan. Then have your lunch in a hotel. Then you can cover temple tour as Gundicha temple, Astasambhu Temple, Markandeswar, Yajneswara and Pataleswara, and the Temple of Seven Mother Goddesses, Mausima Temple. Here you can also visit the Gour Vihar Ashram, Lokanath Temple, Nrushinghanath Temple, Sonar Gourang, Bedi Hanuman, Narendra Pokhari. Explore the beach market in the evening. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay after dinner.
This morning after breakfast, proceed towards Alarnath Temple & Chilika Lake( Satapada) - the largest brackish water body in Asia which is the home of numerous birds and sea life it is being treated as the real paradise for the bird lovers and ornithologists since the whole vicinity attracts large number of aquatic birds preferably in winters for the migratory counts. The Major species that can be witnessed as white bellied sea eagles, Greylag geese, purple moorhen, flamingo jacana and herons. Drive back to Puri in the evening. After freshening up you can visit the golden beach market in the evening. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed to visit Konark. It is one of the well-known tourist attractions of Odisha. It amazed at the wonderful architecture of the Konark Sun Temple, built in the 13th century, this impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site is designed in the form of a chariot and is dedicated to Sun - God.
Then visit the Chandrabhaga beach. This beach is considered as one of the finest beaches along the eastern coast of India. Have your lunch in between. Then drive towards Bhubaneswar. Enroute visit Dhauli, The Buddhist Monastery and Pipli, the appliqué village market. Then drive towards Bhubaneswar. Here you can cover temple tour as Lingaraj, Rajarani Temple, Mukteswar Temple, Ananta Basudev Temple. Later check in hotel and overnight stay at the hotel in Bhubaneswar.
This morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and have a local visit of Bhubaneswar. NandanKanan Zoo, Khandagiri Udaygiri Jain Caves and Tribal Museum. (Monday Closed). Then explore Bhubaneswar local market. Have you lunch in between. Then you will be dropped at Bhubaneswar Airport/ Railway station for onward journey.
