Itinerary Visit Guide

Day 1

Arrival at Bhubaneswar

On arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station, you will be transferred to the hotel. Later if time permits half day sightseeing of tribal museum, Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves. Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.

Day 2

Bhubaneswar – Mangalajodi – Bhubaneswar

Morning drive to Mangalajodi (the bird’s paradise). Take boat cruise & have photography of migratory birds. Back to Bhubaneswar & night stay.

Day 3

Bhubaneswar – Satkosia

The morning after breakfast drive to Satkosia and check in the forest guest house. After lunch visit Labangi (scenic beauty) & Hatigirija. Have photography of the natural sceneries. Night stay at the forest guest house.

Day 4

Satkosia

The morning after breakfast check-out from the hotel. Take a bicycle tour to Tikarpada enroute visit to Kuadoli, Chhotkei ( Have photography of a variety of butterflies at Kuadoli & natural seneries at Chhotkei ). Check in to the tented accommodation. Have lunch. Rest for some time. Take a boat cruise in Satkosia Gorge where you will come across gharials . Back to Tent. Evening enjoy bonfire. Dinner & Overnight stay.

Day 5

Satkosia – Dhenkanal

Morning drive to Dhenkanal and visit Joranda to see the Mahima Cult. Check in to the Palace. After lunch visit some villages nearby. Back to Palace & Overnight stay.

Day 6

Dhenkanal – Bhitarkanika

The morning after breakfast drive to Bhitarkanika and take the boat cruise from Khola (45 mins cruise). Reach Dangamal and check in to the forest guest house. After lunch take a boat cruise and reach Jetty. From there trek in the jungle and visit to Siva temple, Sikarkothi (shooting block of King Kanika). Also, go up to the watch tower to see the wild animals grazing in an open field. Trek back up to Jetty. From there take a boat cruise to Dangamal. Dinner & Overnight stay.

Day 7

Bhitarkanika

Early morning around 6.30 am take a boat cruise and reach the jetty. From jetty trek (20mins) and reach the watchtower and from there you will have the scenic view of Bagagahan (trees full of birds). Back to Dangamal by boat. After breakfast take boat (4hrs cruise ). While cruising you will find the mangrove forest on both the riverside and also you will see the crocodiles on both sides of the river bank. Lunch at Habilikhati. Take rest for half an hour. Then walk on the beachside (4kms) and reach Ekakula ( the meet point of sea & 4 rivers ). Then back to Habilikhati either by walk or take a boat up to jetty and from there walk (2kms) to reach the guest house. Dinner & Overnight stay.

Day 8

Bhitarkanika – Baripada/Lulung

Morning take a boat cruise to Jayanagar ( exit point ). Then drive to Baripada/Lulung and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 9

Similipal

Morning take Jeep safari and visit to Joranda Water fall from the watch tower ( it is the 19th highest waterfall of India & It is a straight and single drop waterfall ) , Barehipani water fall ( it is India’s 2nd highest and Odisha’s highest waterfall. The height of the waterfall is 1309 ft & it falls in two drops ). Also, visit Barehipani village & Haldia Village ( where you will witness the leaf plate making ). Check in to the Jungle lode at Ramtirtha. Visit the Gharial Research centre & Interpretation Centre. Overnight stay at Jungle lodge.

Day 10

Similipal – Bhubaneswar

Morning drive back to Bhubaneswar and check in to the hotel. The rest time is free. Night stay at Bhubaneswar.

Day 11

Drop to Airport/Railway Station

Morning transfer to Airport/Railway Station for onwards journey.

Given prices are on Per person basis on Double Occupancy (two persons sharing a room)

We generally provide indoor outdoor tickets on the same day, but for special occasions, we might give these tickets on different days (depend on the itinerary)
No Transfers are given for dinner unless pre-booked and paid above the holiday cost

Any delay or cancellation of program due to nature or other reasons will not provide any refund
