Minajhola

Minajhola is located near Gudari in the Rayagada district at a distance of about 134 km from Rayagada city and 70 km from Gunupur., in the Indian state of Odisha. This place is famous for its Shiva temple, one of the tourist attractions of the district which is located at the confluence of three rivers i.e. Vamsadhara, Chauladhua & Phalaphalia. Situated at the heart of the dense forest rich in wildlife. The major festival of this place is Shivratri. A large number of devotees gather to pay homage to Lord Shiva in this event. All can see here Lord Minaketan in the form of a FISH. Though this place is worth visiting, there is no good all-weather-road to travel. The scenic beauty around the temple and near the confluence of the rivers is really adorable. It is one of the identified Tourist Centres (scenic spot) as well a good picnic spot of Odisha.
