A true delight for the nature lovers, the state of Odisha (Orissa) offers adventurous Wildlife tours. Renowned for its Wildlife parks and Sanctuaries in India, Orissa wildlife is home to several rare flora and fauna species. Having the thickest Mangrove forest and abundant Red Silk Cotton Trees, Wildlife parks at Odisha (Orissa) has proved to be the most successful breeding ground for Asiatic lions. The protected area network of Odisha (Orissa), spread over a sprawling area of 6611.12 sq. km, the Wildlife in Orissa(Odisha) is cradled very lovingly in eighteen sanctuaries, a National Park and one proposed National Park. These wildlife parks cover about 4.25% of the geographical area and 11.37% of the forest area of the state. Adding more to this is the Gahirmatha Marine Sanctuary spread over1408 sq. km of the seascape. This marine habitat rests on a stretch of 20 km.

Itinerary Visit Guide

Day 1

Airport/Railway Station Pickup – Refresh at Hotel – Bhubaneswar Local

On arrival at Bhubaneswar Railway Station/Airport in the morning, we will pick you up and drop at the hotel at Bhubaneswar. Check in the hotel. After freshen up relax for some time. Then have a local visit of Bhubaneswar.NandanKanan Zoo, Khandagiri, Udaygiri, and Tribal Museum. (Monday Closed). Have you lunch in between. Then explore Bhubaneswar local market in the evening. Back to the hotel after dinner for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Buddhist Monasteries – Bhitarakanika – Drop at Hotel

This morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive towards Bhitarakanika. On the way, we will make you visit the Buddhist Monasteries and Stupas in Ratnagiri, Udayagiri, and Lalitgiri. After checking-in and savouring lunch at the Resort, a cruise will be organized. (Boating will be in your own expense) A countryside boat that is approved by the Wildlife Department will tour you around offering a panoramic view of the Ramsar area. Later, in the evening, back to Dangamal Nature camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Camp Pickup – Dangamal – Habalikhati – Drop at Camp

This morning, trek to the hunting tower which was once the favourite place to hunt by the Ancient King. Then back to the camp for breakfast and then check out and proceed to Similipal Nature camp. At the entry point at Jashipur Gate, we have to take permit for entry at the Forest area. Here we have to change a vehicle (SUV) to get inside.(You have to pay for the SUV). Then move to Nature camp. Check in and after freshening up have you lunch. Then head towards the beautiful waterfalls – Barehipani, Uski and Joranda. You can also go for a Jungle Safari around the reserve. Later, a visit to Chahala Zone will follow. Overnight stay at the hotel in Similipal after dinner.

Day 4

Bhitarkanika – Similipal – Waterfalls – Chahala Zone

Day 5

Similipal – Bhubaneswar

This morning after breakfast check out and drive towards Bhubaneswar. Check in the hotel. Freshen up and relax. Have your dinner in a hotel. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6

Temples – Drop at Airport/Railway Station

On the last day, after breakfast checkout from the hotel and visit Lingaraj, Rajarani, Mukteswar, Ananta Basudev Temples. Have your lunch in a hotel. Explore the local market if time permits. Then Drop at Bhubaneswar Railway station/Airport for onward journey.
