Puri is sacred land and is been counted as per Hindu mythology, among one of the famous holy Char Dhams of the country. Puri Rath Yatra is a highly important and prominent tour of the pious land Puri in Odisha or of Lord Jagannath and seeking his divine blessing. Visitors come not only from India but also from every corner of the world to see Lord Jagannath, Devi Subhadra, and Lord Balabhadra, in Cart or Ratha and enjoy the Rath Yatra festival to the most. It is usually held in the month of June/July, and starts on the second day of a new moon, as per dates and times of Hindu calendar. The rath yatra starts from the Lord Jagannath temple and the chariots of the deities are taken to Gundicha temple located in the other parts of the city and thousands of devotees attend this festival every year. Arrival Bhubaneswar or Puri, transfer to Hotel/Resort at Puri, Snacks & Lunch will be provided. Afternoon Visit to Konark Sun Temple, A.S.I Museum, and Chandrabhaga Beach. Dinner & Over Night Stay at Puri.
Early morning proceed to Puri to witness Rathayatra at the rooftop. Evening back to Hotel/Resort (Breakfast packet, water bottle, packed lunch (veg) will be provided by the hotel. Dinner & Night halt at Hotel/Resort.
After Breakfast & check out, proceed to Satapada (Chilika), cruise in Chilika Lake, sightseeing of Irrawaddy Dolphins, Sea – Mouth & Rajhans Island. Back to the hotel. Dinner, overnight stay at Puri.
After Breakfast & check out from the hotel then proceed to Bhubaneswar en route you may visit temples like Lingaraj Temple, Rajarani Temple, and Mukteswar Temple, etc. Then you may visit local sightseeing Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves (oldest rock cut caves are reminiscent of influence of Buddhism and Jainism in Orissa), Further, proceed to Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
