Queen of natural beauty, Chilika Lake, the largest brackish water lake in Asia covering an area of over 1,100 sq. km is a great attraction for tourists for fishing, bird watching, and boating. In winter Chilika aflutter with thousands of indigenous and migratory birds of many varieties from far and near - even from the distant Siberia. The fabulous beauty of Chilika which has inspired poets to sing its glory and which can be best enjoyed from Balugaon, Barkul, Rambha, and Satapada must be seen to be believed. One can also have a glimpse of the lake from the moving trains and vehicles on the road near these places. The atmosphere is just serene and undisturbed amidst the blue expanse of water on one side and an evergreen range of hills on the other. Dotted with a host of islands with romantic names, a cruise in Chilika will be a life-long memory.

Itinerary Visit Guide

Day 1

Airport / Railway Station Pickup – Refresh at Hotel – Tribal Museum – Caves – Drop at Hotel

On your arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport or Railway Station, we will pick you up and drop at hotel. Check in the hotel. After freshening up relax for some time. Then visit Khandagiri and Udaygiri caves, Jain Monuments which belong to 2nd Century B.C. These oldest rock-cut caves are reminiscent of the influence of Buddhism and Jainism in Odisha. Have your lunch in between. Then we will visit to Tribal Museum to know about the rich tribal culture and crafts of Odisha. Then explore the local market of Bhubaneswar. Have your dinner in a hotel. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Hotel Pickup – Temples – Wildlife Sanctuary – Drop at Hotel

This morning after breakfast, explore the temples like Parsurameswar, Mukteswar, Rajarani, and Lingaraj temple of the temple city. After Then visit Nandankanan zoo which is famous for its lion safari and white tiger. Have your lunch in between. Then visit Esplanade One Mall. Have your dinner. After that, we will drop you to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3

Hotel Pickup – Road Trip – Dhauli – Heritage Monument – Holy Dham – Beach – Drop at Hotel

This morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed towards Puri. Enroute visit Dhauli (Peace Pagoda) and Pipli applique market. Then drive towards Konark to visit the illuminated Sun Temple. Then we will proceed to Puri, the Holy Dham. Check in the hotel. In the evening we will take you to witness the Dhwaja ceremony and evening Aarti at Jagannath temple. Have your dinner in a hotel. Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Hotel Pickup – Satapada – Boat Cruise – Drop at Hotel

Now the day has come to see Dolphins. After breakfast, we will visit Chilika Lake at Satapada. There we will enjoy boat trip which is being awarded with Ramsar for its conservation of wetlands and biodiversity which is a unique combination of marine, fresh water, and brackish water. Have your lunch in the late afternoon. Then drive back to Puri. Enroute visit Alarnath Temple. In the evening we will visit the sea side and beach market. Then we will drop you to the hotel for overnight stay after dinner.

Day 5

Hotel Pickup – Art – Temples – Drop at Airport/Station

After having breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Raghurajpur, the artisan village famous for Odisha Patta painting and you can buy typical Odisha small souvenir from the artists directly. Then we will proceed to Sakhigopal temple. Then drive towards Bhubaneswar. And drop you at Bhubaneswar Airport / Railway Station for onward journey with some everlasting memories of the time you spent in the Odisha.
